The American Association of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (AACMA) was founded on January 11, 2015. It was formed by uniting the California Certified Acupuncturists Association (CCAA) and United California Practitioners of Chinese Medicine (UCPCM).
We warmly welcome new members to join the American Association of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. We provide high-quality continuing education credits, professional academic exchange opportunities, and place strong emphasis on developing our members’ clinical and professional skills, which are key to achieving long-term success in the field.
In May 2026, the AACMA, together with CAC, successfully opposed AB 2497 and helped prevent the unauthorized use of dry needling by physical therapists.
